(maybe due to reddit? or bored panda? who knows...) anyway, thanks for looking at my flow of creation. thanks for the likes, comments, shares, support, everything! and hopefully my art has managed to tickle your spirit a little bit deeper than the average set of words. never thought this page would ever reach such epic proportions.. mostly bin drifting the whole way, practicing my passion which has allowed me to connect with the world like never before.. soooo thanks again! hugely grateful for all of it!! and all of you!! <3

ps: this is the strangest rock i've found in quite awhile. it had to be balanced, despite it's bone crushing potential.
I picked up the largest and most awkward pumpkin i could find. one that no one else would carve, let alone buy. and i gave it a temporary home for the night. muhuuhahahhahahhaahaaaaaa #bizarre #balance #halloween #gravityglue — with Michael Grab.

And working out what they call 'elegant and beautiful' solutions to these puzzles… and they can go on and on like that in absorbed meditation, and spend their whole lives doing it."

Photo: 2015 Calendar goes live on my website November 1st! :) Limited edition and signed.

here's a small preview. 13 months (january 2015 through january 2016. each photo shows a creation from its corresponding month over this past year. Each photo is accompanied by a title like last year, and i also decided to include a short bit of my personal writing with each month (at the bottom in fine print). Each bit of writing relates to its photo in some way. a thought. a sensation. a feeling. etc. along with all the locations for each creation.

Calendar also includes many major holidays, but more importantly for me, are as many celestial events as i could find. new moons, full moons, solstices, equinoxes, eclipses, conjunctions, oppositions, peaks of meteor showers, you know.. the good stuff.

Prices and a more detailed description will appear when they go live on my website. :)

Photo: "Gray Stone

A gray stone does not change color when wet
or dry. Baked on a scorched road or shaded
by cedars, underground or tossed
into a bright green sky, it’s always gray.
It is the stone of earth, of the down-to-earth
no nonsense way of knowing life
does not often of its own volition provide.
A gray stone will not
change your luck or shorten the mortgage
or make you young again. It doesn’t say
“now” to investments—money or love.
It doesn’t say “no” when you plot wrong things
you are sure you must do with your life
or die from the drone. Keep one gray stone
in a secret place, and when those you love
are broken or gone, listen
with a sustained, with a horrible attention
to the nothing it has always had to say.”

Photo: developing a whim... here was sunset last night. spent quite a bit of time focused on the geometry here. 2 solid days building this arch in such a way as to reflect a circle (let alone metatron's cube), identifying imperfections, making adjustments, meeting collapse, along with rising and falling water levels. Then, through shear dumb luck (or perhaps a wink from the universe for my efforts), I stumbled upon an ingenious way to regulate the water level of my pool. Tis difficult to describe the amount of energetic input and serendipity that was required to reach this point amidst a breathing environment. not to mention the light. physical and conceptual vector equilibrium. perhaps just another subliminal ET download. :))
2015 Calendars are finished!! will post a more detailed sample soon! my favorite edition thus far!! :)) should be available on my website by end of next week!

Photo: i've become obsessed again. perhaps the experience of this heavy leaf storm the other day really left a print on the psyche. not to mention all the other elements of this dynamic location. by carefully adjusting underwater rocks in strategic places, i've created a kind of slow whirlpool that flows clockwise around this arch... the entire pool is an excellent leaf catcher and the leaves get caught up whirling around my arch. :)) (the time lapses look REALLY cool!) Surprisingly (or maybe not), not a single leaf struck the two balanced rocks atop my arch. I cringed with each gusty breeze as leaves showered down all around, almost like snow. the experience was quite enchanting, and has managed to bring me back to the location for the last few days to experiment more with variations. and perhaps to just spend time in a beautiful place. <3 i have too many photos of this project already, in all kinds of light and ambient conditions, along with a few slight variations (due to my obsessive habit with freehand arch-lines -- no form necessary, just very steady hands, patience, and slow breathing). hard to choose which ones to post. will decide when i decide. but for now. THIS leaf storm over the entire creek!! :)
